Tiny Omens, Inc. operates Tiny Omens. The app offers a personal daily fortune ritual, private gifts, and curated omens that can be passed between friends.

How shared links work

Private gift links beginning with /g/ contain a note written for one recipient. They can be intentionally opened once and expire after 24 hours. Circulating omen links beginning with /o/ contain authored Tiny Omens content. Multiple recipients can open and forward the same circulating omen. Anyone with either kind of link may be able to open it, so share links only with people you intend to reach. Shared links use opaque random identifiers and never place fortune or note text in the URL.

What we process

For private gifts, we process an opaque gift identifier, the note, optional display name, prompt category, creation and expiry times, and an anonymous or account identifier. For circulating omens, we process opaque share and challenge identifiers, the authored omen version and card identity, forwarding lineage, a one-way hash of an anonymous session credential, and intentional reveal or reward progress. We do not upload contacts or request location or an advertising identifier.

Device storage and retention

Private gift links expire after 24 hours and stop revealing the note after their intentional open. Circulating omens remain readable so recipients can revisit or forward them unless Tiny Omens withdraws that content. Omens you keep in the app Jar or browser Jar stay on that device. Browser Jar entries use local browser storage. We do not operate a public feed.

Analytics

We use pseudonymous product analytics to understand whether the ritual works. Events may include approved event names, opaque gift, share, reply, or challenge identifiers, content category, app surface, version, outcome, error code, and timestamp. Analytics never include fortune or note text, display names, contacts, Apple credentials, session credentials, or complete URLs. Analytics availability does not control access or rewards.

Your choices

You can decline optional sharing challenges and still read or save an omen. You can delete local app data from Settings and clear browser site data to remove the browser Jar. If you create an account, you can initiate account deletion from the app; we then delete the account and associated server-held personal data except where retention is legally required.
